JUCE is an open-source cross-platform C++ application framework for desktop and mobile applications, including VST, VST3, AU, AUv3, LV2 and AAX audio plug-ins.
juce-framework/JUCE has 9.1k stars and gained +131 of them in the last 30 days, a 1.5% change. It is written in C++, grouped under media, released under NOASSERTION. Last pushed on 27 Oct 2026.
Star growth per time window: stars gained, growth percentage, the star count at the start of the period, and whether the figure was measured from our own two-hour intraday snapshots, daily snapshots, or GitHub’s rebuilt star history, for the last 6 hours, the last 12 hours, today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, and the last year. A period with no current measurement is left blank rather than shown as zero.

A period with no current measurement is left blank: a delta needs a measurement at both ends of the period. The 6- and 12-hour periods need two intraday measurements exactly that far apart, the day-and-longer periods need snapshots on both dates, and the last year also needs star history from a year ago, which we keep for one year.

A Reddit search for github.com/juce-framework/JUCE runs while this page is rendered, at most once every 6 hours per repository. What it finds is stored in our database (25 posts per fetch, at most 200 repositories a day), so the numbers on this site can be reproduced later. Reddit's feed has no scores or comment counts, so none are shown.

Stars: 8.9k when it entered our index, 9.1k on the last capture we hold (24 Oct 2026), so +114 in that span. That span is our own measurement window, not a claim about what happened before it.
Its most recent thread before Trending is more than 90 days older than that day, so the two are not the same story and we do not claim lead time.
We hold 13 mentions for it, the oldest dated 28 Oct 2020 and the first written into our database on 24 Oct 2026. Thread dates come from the source, not from when we fetched them.

Do you have a source for this? I don't see any indication from a quick Google other than this thread as the second result. The license at: https://github.com/juce-framework/JUCE/blob/master/LICENSE.m... indicates you can just license any module under agpl and avoid the JUCE 8 license (which to be fair, I'm not bothering to read)
> Juce has a CoreGraphicsMetalLayerRenderer which I believe uses Metal to render CoreGrapghics primitives. This class is part of a JUCE demo app, and you can read the source code to it if you want. [0] It uses CoreGraphics to render the graphics on the CPU, and then uploads it as a texture to the GPU so it can be used as a CAMetal layer. So, no, the graphics are still rendered on the CPU, with co…
JUCE has a CoreGraphicsMetalLayerRenderer which I understood as using Metal to render CoreGraphics paths. https://github.com/juce-framework/JUCE/blob/4e68af7fde8a0a64...
You linked to the software fallback renderer which can be used for cross-platform compatibility. But JUCE also has platform-specific rendering modules. CoreGraphicsContext::createPath will convert the CPU spline segments to CG spline segments which are then rasterized by CoreGraphics using Metal on the GPU. https://github.com/juce-framework/JUCE/blob/2b16c1b94c90d0db... And on Windows 7 and up it…
When we talk about 2D graphics as a research problem, we're talking about native rendering of splines and strokes. JUCE does not have GPU-accelerated splines, it flattens the path to lines and rasterizes the coverage area into a texture that then gets uploaded to the GPU: https://github.com/juce-framework/JUCE/blob/2b16c1b94c90d0db... https://github.com/juce-framework/JUCE/blob/2b16c1b94c90d0db..…
