Growth

Star growth per time window: stars gained, growth percentage, the star count at the start of the period, and whether the figure was measured from our own two-hour intraday snapshots, daily snapshots, or GitHub’s rebuilt star history, for the last 6 hours, the last 12 hours, today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, and the last year. A period with no current measurement is left blank rather than shown as zero.
Period	Stars gained	Growth	From	Measured
Last 6 hours	—	—	—	Not measured
Last 12 hours	—	—	—	Not measured
Today	+36	0.1%	32.2k on 25 Oct 2026	Daily snapshots
Last 7 days	+313	1.0%	31.9k on 18 Oct 2026	Weekly history
Last 30 days	+1.1k	3.7%	31k on 27 Sep 2026	Weekly history
Last year	+24.6k	323.5%	7.6k on 26 Oct 2025	Weekly history

A period with no current measurement is left blank: a delta needs a measurement at both ends of the period. The 6- and 12-hour periods need two intraday measurements exactly that far apart, the day-and-longer periods need snapshots on both dates, and the last year also needs star history from a year ago, which we keep for one year.

Meetily v0.4.1 - local transcription is now more reliable across microphone changes and long meetingsRedditstory · by /u/Sadeed_Ameen · 12 Sep 2026
Meetily v0.4.1 is out. This release focuses on the failure cases that break a meeting workflow: a microphone changing mid-session, short replies disappearing, long HE-AAC imports playing at the wrong speed, a model download restarting, or a summary retry failing. What changed: Microphone selection improved and reliability of external microphone and bluetooth devices enhanced. Short spoken replies…
6 open-source repos for private AI meeting notesRedditstory · by /u/ShilpaMitra · 19 Aug 2026

Turn your laptop into a private meeting-notes machine: 5 open-source repos, and the consent rule the cloud tools ignoredRedditstory · by /u/ShilpaMitra · 15 Jul 2026
The reason to build this yourself is not just cost. In 2025 Otter.ai was hit with a class action over recording people without consent, and Fireflies.ai was sued under Illinois' biometric law for collecting voiceprints. When a cloud notetaker joins your call, your audio, your voice, and everything said lives on a server you do not control. The fix is a pipeline that runs entirely on your machine:…

Repositories in the same collection, of a comparable size (within 5× in stars) and from a different owner, that were discussed in the same threads. Same-owner projects are excluded because they are usually pieces of the same tool, not rivals. A repository also stays out if the two never met in a discussion.
